Display a white screen
Start with pure #ffffff. Open the screen for a clear white surface, or choose another solid color.
Press Escape to exit. Move the pointer or tap the screen to bring back the Exit button.
A white display for lighting and visual inspection
Use the current display as a plain white surface without creating an image file. Start with #FFFFFF, enter fullscreen and hide the surrounding page. A custom HEX color lets you compare another shade. Optional Keep awake requests screen wake lock when supported; the browser may release it when the page loses visibility. How to use a fullscreen white display
A white screen is an immediate display state. A white image is a file; choose the workflow that matches your task.
Open the tool on the display you want to use
Move this browser window to the intended monitor before starting. Keep the default white or enter a valid HEX value, then use the fullscreen button. Controls can be recalled with pointer or touch input.
Keep software color and hardware light separate
A white field does not override Night Shift, HDR, automatic brightness or monitor settings. If using the display for fill light, adjust hardware brightness to a comfortable level and judge the result in your video-call app.
End the session explicitly
Use Escape or the visible exit control. If Keep awake was enabled, ending the session releases its request. A browser or device may still release wake lock earlier; check the visible status when you return to the page.

Does the white screen change my monitor brightness?
No. The tool displays white pixels. Actual light output still depends on your hardware brightness, picture mode, automatic adjustments and room conditions.
What if my browser cannot enter fullscreen?
The tool uses a full-window fallback and tells you when fullscreen is unavailable. Browser controls may remain visible; use Exit or Escape to return to the page.
