The 1500 × 500 preset is a useful starting shape for a header. Set it before choosing your gradient direction. A horizontal blend spreads the color change across the width; a vertical blend places more of the transition in the header's limited height.
If you add text or a logo after download, leave space around them for responsive cropping and the profile interface. Preview the uploaded image on both a narrow and a wide screen. Canvas dimensions alone do not guarantee that every pixel will remain visible in every layout.
A landscape post and a header should normally be exported separately. Reuse the palette to make them feel connected, rather than stretching the same finished image. The generator supplies a local download and never needs access to your X account or publishes the image for you.
